The Society is co-hosting an event with BP on Monday 22nd May 2017 at the BP offices at No. 1 St. James’s Square, London, SW1Y 4PD commencing at 5.00 p.m.
The programme for the evening:
- Professor Nargiz Pashayeva, Co-Chairman, The Anglo-Azerbaijani Society will welcome guests and talk about the culture of Azerbaijan;
- Ms Emily Olsen, Vice President Communications & External Affairs, Sothern Corridor, will give a presentation about the BP and Azerbaijan business climate and the two business projects in the oil and gas fields – South Caucasus pipeline – built to export Shah Deniz gas from Azerbaijan to George and Turkey, and the Azeri-Chirag-Deepwater Gunashli (ACG), the largest oilfield in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian basin;
- Lord German, Co-Chairman, London will finish by speaking about the work of the Society and BP’s strong relationship in Azerbaijan.
Members of the Society will be given priority on registration.
Registration forms will be sent out this week and will be on a strictly first come, first serve basis to members.
